Support our Work
People living in poverty need our help now more than ever as they face the onslaught of the COVID pandemic. For 20 years and 50 years respectively, Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO) and its partner law firm, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE), have represented people living in poverty, helping them receive fair treatment and equal justice. Our advocacy benefits the entire community by helping families to be safe and secure in their own homes.
As LAWO and ABLE celebrate our 20th and 50th anniversaries, we recognize we cannot help all those who need it, and that we need to do more. That is where your support comes in. Our funding can vary widely from year to year and often drops unexpectedly. Sudden drops in funding damage our ability to serve the community. We currently face new threats to our funding due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Your financial support of LAWO, ABLE, and our pro bono partners says that You Care About Justice For All. Your support helps protect the rights of the most marginalized people in our communities and the justice system.
Thank you for your gift to help meet the promise of justice for all!
