Medicaid Eligibility

spiral notepad with "MEDICAID" on cover, pen and stethoscope nearby

Medicaid eligibility limits are updated annually. Household size and total income determines eligibility for Medicaid. Many families need assistance paying for their health care to make ends meet. Medicaid is a benefit that provides healthcare to families in poverty. There are also Medicaid programs available for individuals with severe and persistent mental health issues, individuals requiring home healthcare services, and employed people with disabilities. The income limits for these programs are higher than limits for the traditional programs.  If you need further information about these programs, or if your assistance is in jeopardy due to rule change or income changes, LAWO attorneys may be able to help.
