Who do I contact if I have a media inquiry?
To request comment or information from Legal Aid of Western Ohio or Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, please contact the Communications Office. See contact information below. In order to ensure that media receive the information or spokesperson they seek in an accurate and timely manner, Communications staff will ask a number of key questions, including:
Caller name, media outlet and contact information (phone, email, fax)
Story deadline
What is triggering the story and what information or spokesperson are being requested?
What other sources are being approached for the story?

Can I get information or an update on a client’s case?
ABLE and LAWO are bound through the privacy act to protect the confidentiality of our clients and cannot release any client information.
